to support radical change at grassroots to ensure our families live in resilient and regenerative communities.
To do this, we have developed a framework which includes a collective vision, a roadmap with a game plan and an eco-hub model to help us re-imagine, design and build a regenerative future together.
This is Our Future Village a place where we are living in harmony with our surrounding environment and looking after the health and well-being of ourselves, our family and our community.
Our aim is to provide the awareness and education of the latest social and ecological impacts of climate change and to find the locally relevant solutions.
The HIVE framework is designed to help equip our children, families, community groups and local businesses to co-design and build creative, resilient, adaptable and thriving places for current and future generations to live, learn, work and play in.
The HIVE's Roadmap is an educational and interactive programme with activities and events from April to December to help inspire action within our communities.
Our simplified roadmap has 8 action areas which runs over the next 8 years.
Monthly & annual goals are aimed at helping us all make significant domestic, economic and social changes by 2030. With a fun and creative approach, we hope to inspire involvement within families, schools and businesses and help our community and natural environment thrive through current and future crises.
A playful invitation for you and your family to re-imagine the future with us & enJOY the adventure towards a regenerative 2030 & beyond.

It's an ACTION plan with monthly and annual goals...
We'll be hosting a series of programmes and events in line with our action plan to engage, educate and empower the community. Our programmes will run annually through to 2030 and launch on Earth Day (22nd April) each year.
Each month we will focus on a different area of concern to make the incremental and measurable steps towards our 2030 vision as set out in the HIVE's Roadmap. Projects and events will offer the community ways in which they can learn about, and make the necessary changes towards together.
Research and evaluation throughout our annual journey will give us the real world data to help steer us towards our destination - An adaptable, thriving and regenerative future to hand to our children.
How do we grow food to nourish ourselves & the earth's soils?
How do we make NEW products from existing resources?
How do we generate & share local green energy supplies?
How do we protect local species & rewild green spaces?
How do we protect local waterways?
How can we reuse and repurpose materials in our homes and gardens?
How do we reward local eco-trading, buyer choices & community eco-action?
How do we create AWE inspiring versions of the future to step into?
A multi-actor hub for activating Our Future Village concepts within the local community.
Within the hub is a shop, cafe, studio and co-working space.
Our mission is to share the latest environmental concerns in a way that showcases the possible solutions at grassroots for the community to take part in and witness the art of the possible. The HIVE offers products, workshops and repair cafes helping us become more intentional about the choices we make as consumers.
The hub is also a co-working space and incubator - an
exchange hub for new ideas and initiatives - supporting local startups to test, grow and flourish together towards a regenerative and circular economy.
Through partnerships with local organisations we intend to identify projects and funding streams to support initiatives which are seen as key to a thriving local environment for future generations in the town and surrounding areas in line with the HIVE 2030 Roadmap and Our Future Village framework.
We believe in the power of community-led change and that by working together with our youth we can find solutions that are easier, fun and full of joy for our families, schools, businesses and communities.
